Our Mission

To build a custom van so specific to the individual, you liken it to a suit of clothing.

The First Humble Road Van - 01

After years of travel in a 40 ft Class A and then a Pleasure-Way Sprinter van, I thought I could build something better!

And because I documented my build on YouTube, Humble Road LLC was born.

The Vagabond Van

Built for a full-time van life couple. Their main objective; STORAGE!

Most of their time is spent outdoors, so they had lots of outdoor gear that needed a home inside this van.

Sam Van

Built for an experienced full-time van dweller, Sam’s main interior objective was a large front lounge where he could stretch out comfortably.
Clothing and gear storage, ease of use and elegant system configuration topped his list of “must-haves.”

Mr & Mrs Sprinter’s Van
NOW OFFERED FOR SALE $215,000

A well traveled pair, this couple wanted the comfort and luxury of a Five Star Hotel on wheels.
A residential queen size bed, a dining room and a shower were just a few of the boxes we checked in this build!

LightFoot - Ford Transit 250

The longest, tallest Ford Transit!
LightFoot, aptly named as a Transit 250, this van does not offer the gross vehicle weight rating of her more robust sibling, the 350 HD. So building within these tighter parameters presented an additional set of concerns. LightFoot was built for an adventurous solo traveler and her dog. Our main objective here was openness. We wanted the van to live large without compromising any features, nor storage.

The Big Beautiful Beast - Ford Transit 350HD

The longest, tallest Ford Transit heavy-duty AWD dually! Look up robust in the dictionary and you will find this Beast!
The Big Beautiful Beast was built for a retired Florida couple who crave the feeling of travel freedom. All the amenities of a five star hotel that you can easily park on any Main St in any town of America. Go! Enjoy!

The Micro Camper we call Mini-Me

Built on the RAM Promaster City platform, this nimble solo traveler is feature rich just like her larger siblings.
While not for everyone, the ease of use, comfort and adorableness are becoming evident in this tiny package.

The MIDI-Me! A mid-sized solo traveler

Just like the “Goldilocks & The Three Bears” story, this mid-sized solo traveler is not too small, not too large. It’s just right!
