Sam Van
Built for an experienced full-time van dweller, this design had several objectives to address.
The on-board systems needed to withstand weeks of off grid life in Sam’s favorite hangout; the desert. And those systems needed to be simple, elegant, easily serviced and maintained. No problem!
The primary objective inside was a large open lounge up front where Sam could stretch out comfortably.
Forward lounge had to be roomy with a wide open feel.

When you live in a van full-time, or for extended periods, different types of storage are appreciated.
This mid-ship armoire includes a small lock box for important papers.
Massive AC/DC refrigerator can accommodate plenty of fresh foods.
Largest freezer in it's class, this fridge/freezer combo features two individual 12v compressors.
A custom made dry goods pantry keeps your provisions organized and accessible.
In order to accommodate Sam's height, the air conditioner needed to be custom recessed as high into the ceiling as possible. Every inch counts in van life.
Having a microwave was a "must have" in this build. So we chose a drawer style for ease of use and tucked it in at the end of the hallway.
A special retractable step and night light insure a safe and pleasant late night trip to the bathroom.
