Our Services
Our primary focus here at the Humble Road Van Studio is to build individually tailored camper vans at the highest level of quality and workmanship. In fact, we guarantee our workmanship for the life of the van.
We spend quite a bit of up front time with our clients, listening to what they want, need and must have. The objectives and expectations we identify will become the foundation for the build. Creativity at these innovative levels is dynamic. We welcome the serendipitous processes that allow the project to morph and improve throughout the build period, and beyond. In other words; we thrive on change and discovery!
We use only the finest, road proven components and durable non-toxic materials.

As so many of us have, I’ve watched hundreds of Youtube van build videos. There are some good builders on YouTube, some very good. Out of the multitude of offerings on this topic, combined qualities such as innovation, professionalism, excellence and highly entertaining are rare. On this podcast, you’ve heard me refer to a builder who’s work embodies all of that and much more. That builder is George Mauro, creator of the Humble Road YouTube channel as well as the Humble Road van shop.

Dream it.
The creative brainstorm that swirls in our pea brains is fueled by your wants, needs and must-haves. Seasoned, of course with the experience of being campers and inventors ourselves. Humble Road was born out of a desire to build a better camper van and tailor it to each individual customer. Something the big manufacturers can not do.
Build it.
Our build processes are always evolving and improving. Innovation occurs when you are willing to take risks, think beyond the norm and do not fear failure. We use a combination of high quality materials, equipment and components. All time-tested, reliable and serviceable just about anywhere while out on the road.
Ease of repair is a must. But it is meaningless without accessibility. Our designs force you to put eyes on key system components daily. You will know immediately, when something is not quite right, allowing you to address it before it becomes a bigger issue.
Protect it.
The "annual tighten up." All third party components and equipment will follow their individual manufacturer’s warranty. If you are willing to make the pilgrimage to the Humble Road Van Studio once a year, our team will go over all our components and workmanship. This is considered an integrity service, where we stand behind our workmanship and systems.
Also at this time, we may install new features or make enhancements as you wish at reduced "family discounted rates".

Yours are by far, the most detailed and well thought out.
It is obvious you love what you do and
your product defines who you are..”
All plumbing is zone isolated. If you have a problem with one zone while on your precious vacation, simply turn off that zone and be on your way!
Plumbing shut-off valves are easily accessible by design. And with eyes on them every day, you'll notice a problem before it gets worse.
The plumbing manifolds are individually designed for each van.
Superior strength and light weight as compared to typical plywood box construction, are the benefits of building extruded aluminum skeletal systems.
Components are fitted as dictated by the layouts in each van.
Extruded aluminum is the backbone of every Humble Road build.
Every full size van build begins with a very detailed cardboard mock up. This allows the clients to step inside and walk through their van before the first piece of material is cut. It's the time to nip here and tuck there in order to get the proportions and dimensions just right for each individual client. Components are fitted with cardboard mock-ups to achieve the right proportions and fitment. Here is one of the mock up fresh water tanks, which proved to be too large for this layout.
A closed loop glycol radiant heating system under the van floor provides supplemental heating to keep your toes warm.
Laminations are done with our in-house vacuum tables.

For a precise tight fitting result, we custom cut all our cabinet parts on our CNC machine.
Research, development and design are everyday tasks. Here we test a Humble Road designed mechanism to deploy the toilet from its hiding place under the armoire.
Client requests are taken very seriously. We intend to execute our designs in a highly functional, esthetically pleasing way..
